RECLAIM does vital work with young people from working class areas of Greater Manchester. Young people supported by RECLAIM have increased their resilience, confidence & determination to lead us into a fairer future.

We are not state funded, therefore we rely on support from wonderful people like you to help us raise the necessary funds that allow us to continue this work within communities and keep our young people on track to being seen, being heard and leading change.

Manchester 10K

You can take in the views of Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium, the award-winning Imperial War Museum and The Lowry. You will also pass the famous cobbles of Coronation Street’s new set. Perhaps the most significant landmark will be Beetham Tower, the 47-storey Skyscraper which almost marks the finish line for you!

The 10K route starts on Portland Street near the junction with Oxford Street, finishing on Deansgate, and with 10 music zones, DJs, live bands and Key 103’s specially chosen playlist to drive you along, it should make for a great event!

Manchester Half Marathon

This year sees a Half Marathon Route for those who find a 10K a little on the light side…

Manchester’s newest half marathon will take runners of all abilities on a 13.1 mile tour of the city. The route passes by two of the UK’s most iconic football grounds, the Etihad Stadium and Old Trafford, as well as the Imperial War Museum and Albert Square. The Mancunian Way will also be closed off to vehicles for one day only, allowing participants a safe, unique running experience through the city.

If that’s not enough, the course will provide you with plenty of atmosphere to keep you going… With bands on the run, musical entertainment and thousands of spectators shouting your name – you’ll stay motivated all the way to the finish line!
