About Us Our People The Team Grace Gillibrand Role: Salford LEAD Youth Engagement Superpower: If Grace could have one superpower, it would be 'luck' Grace's work history has always revolved around working with people. From summer camps in America, to lifeguard & programme staff at Camp Friendship to Head Counselor and Assistant Director for a charity called The Fresh Air Fund, a charity based in the 5 boroughs of New York. Grace has also worked as a volunteer mentor for the charity City Year UK - which tackles educational inequality within in the UK. As well as working with charities, Grace has also worked as a support worker in a residential care home for children with mental health. This offered a full care package to help children integrate back into the community when they have been discharged from hospital. "I wanted to work at RECLAIM because I am passionate about allowing young people to have their voices heard. Having worked with young people I always found that their ideas are a lot more diverse and interesting than any adult has to offer. There is a sense wonder and belief that people lose when they become adults - which young people are able to tap in to and explore a lot more freely. Knowing this I felt RECLAIM would be a perfect place to advocate for young people's voices to be heard."
